RR pulling bottles from OR?

Not that I'm going to miss them all that much but I did like to pick up their BA stuff sometimes. Any reason why they are pulling out? Seems like they should share with their neighbor.

 

I'd love to hear a confirmation on this. @maltmaster420 ?

 

I haven't heard anything about this, but I'm talking to their distributor in an hour or so, and it's on my list of stuff to ask about. I'll update if I hear anything.

From what I gathered, it doesn't sound like they're pulling out completely, but bottles of Pliny may become scarce or non-existent due to increased demand at the brewery.

Yeah, but Sticky Hands is a lot more limited than Pliny, so I'm not sure that's an ideal solution.

 

Hearing that the pullback is centered around Pliny makes me feel better. Not that we see a lot of them in Bend, but the -tions are what I would miss most. Plenty of replacements for Pliny, not so much for Consecration or Supplication.

 

Are there any Pliny bottles in pdx right now?

 

Not unless they've been sitting around for over a month. We got a delivery today and the only thing on it was kegs of Pliny & Pig, and cases of Consecration. Speaking of which, we received a bit more Consecration then we normally do, so maybe that's their way of throwing us a bone.

 

definitely more sad about blind pig than i am about pliny. i know there must be something out there with a similar hop profile, but i have yet to find it
