    Once upon a time Tripels were not on my list of favorite styles. But over the years I've grown to appreciate them more and more.

    In Jan I bought 8 bottles of the Allagash Tripel to cellar and taste over a year or so. Tonight I'm having the 4th of the 8 bottles to see if I can decide if Tripels are a style I want to squirrel away for long term storage as I do with a few Stouts, a few BSDAs, some Gueuze, and some Orval.

    This bottle, with about 9 months of bottle age has convinced me that cellaring for several months at least does no harm. The answer to the other question, "Does cellaring improve Tripels" I expect to have a partial answer in another 7 or 8 months.

    They are amazing dogs. We've had 10 now (English, French, Italian) and crazy bout em. Unfortunately they usually go way too soon.

    Enjoying my first brew from Prairie. Not a style I usually gravitate to but this is very tasty. You can taste the love ( and the funk). Pouring a little out (down my throat of course) for Oderus.

    Couldn't get through that Cool Springs Circumsaison, just way too sweet, so dumped it and went with some Brooklyn Sorachi Ace Saison. First time with this one.

    In terms of BA ratings, this is considered the benchmark of English Pale Ales. I must say, it's the best I've had thus far.
