    PRESS RELEASE
    FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

WEYERBACHER RELEASES NEW IPA COMPLETE WITH A DASH OF CHARITY
Portion of Sales From New IPA Will Go to Animal Rescues

Easton, PA - April 30, 2012 - Weyerbacher Brewing Company releases the newest addition to their year round arsenal of craft beers. Last Chance IPA is a full-flavored hop assault delightfully lacking in balance. A combination of Centennial, Cascade, Simcoe, and Columbus hops are used to produce pungent aromas of grapefruit, pine and citrus.

With the impending retirement of Hops Infusion, Weyerbacher wanted to create an IPA that could stand in its place. We began the IPA project across the tri-state area last summer. Our mission was to find the IPA that our fans would enjoy the most. Batch #3743, Marcia, North, Steel, Crimson and Diamond were all unleashed on the public separately over a 6 month period. After reading over a thousand responses to our questionnaire, our new IPA was chosen.

Not only are the people of Weyerbacher passionate about making the highest quality craft beer, they’re also a bunch of guys and gals with big hearts. That’s why a portion of the proceeds from each bottle or pint of Last Chance sold will be donated to an animal rescue. Employees of Weyerbacher will select an animal rescue close to their hearts for each month.

Last Chance will be available in draft starting June 1, with bottles following in July.

Weyerbacher Brewing Company was founded in 1995 in Easton, PA. They’ve been brewing craft beers ever since. Never a brewery to brew within the lines, Weyerbacher has consistently stepped outside traditional beer styles to create not just beers, but experiences.

centennial, cascade, simcoe, columbus, all sounds like standard pungent IPA to me (no summit or citra, but still good). if done well, could be great.

I hope so. I'd love to have a local beer be one of my go-to beers. Hopefully they'll do growler fills while it's only draft.

Don't like the name but love Weyerbacher!! Sure it is awesome and sells better for them, the labeling looks like the old Hops Infusion sorta too.

I agree. I don't like the "Weyerbacher" font, but everything else looks good!

I'll be buying lots of this simply because they're donating to our furry friends.

Had a pint at The Whip in Coatsville, PA this past weekend. Pretty good stuff, but I want to try it again.

Are you serious? I'm all for animal rescue and helping animals, but I'm sure not letting it affect what beer I buy.

If its a decent IPA, which I'm sure it will be, then why not? On a side note... I don't get many good IPAs (fresh and/or often) other than Gandhi-Bot.

If 2 beers are the same as far as your preferences, then yeah do it. I had this at the release, and it's a really nice low ABV IPA. I'll be picking a fair amount up when my supply dwindles of other IPAs.
