So pumkin beer season is upon us. Feels a bit previous here in the balmy sweaty south east but okay, I'll play along because stouts and porters are a (to quote The Sound of Music) few of my favorite things.
This leads me to a recommendation search. I know there are and have been sweet potato beers and the ratings on them seem pretty hit or miss. So y'all, what if any, sweet potato beers have you tried that you liked?

tater ridge Scottish style ale collab brew with SN and asheville brewers was good. Little in the way of the sweet potato, but very good nonetheless

I know Bells makes one but I've never had it. Seen it on tap a few times.

Salty Nut had one last year but I didn't get a chance to try it. Sounded good though... I expect they will do it again this fall at their taproom.

100% Brett Autumn Maple was decent. I also really enjoyed 7venth Sun Root Down Stout, albeit I couldn't taste very much sweet potato in either.

    Indeed Brewing Sweet Yamma Jamma.

I only had one can of it last year, and if my memory serves me correctly I thought of one thing only, "Thanksgiving."

Skip Autumn Maple, unless it's the barrel aged one.

The Bruery Autumn Maple. I thought the original was way better than 100% Brett.

sad confession: Not only have I never tasted sweet potato beer, I've avoided pumpkin beers as well. I know they're wildly popular, but it just sounds like an odd combination to me.... One day I know I'll cave and try one...

New Republic has Windlass - their seasonal sweet potato porter. I had a bottle months after release and the season was over and the sweet potato held up very well. I'm looking forward to finding it again this year.

4 Hands Morning Glory is the only one I have had in recent memory. More of a cinnamon and spice beer, but definitely some sweet potato in there.
