Barrel Select Black bottle count and trade value

Never really got an exact number, heard between 3000 and 4000

 

I traded one of mine straight up for a Darklord.

 

I traded 4 for a King Henry, Wild One, and a Filmishmish. I was happy I could finally track down the elusive KH.

Where did you hear this? I heard it was more like 500-1000 from someone in the tasting room. Also, that would mean over 1000 people bought some, which seems somewhat unlikely.

 

i've heard numbers lower than 1000 and numbers up to 3000. hard to really put a guess on it since it was just put up for sale in the tasting room and as i understand it, most of the regulars in the tasting room aren't looking to spend $15 on a 375mL bottle of a sour beer. everyone i know who got it at the tasting room said that it looked like there were only a few cases left, but heard that for over a month. they did do a 4 bottle limit per visit per customer whereas the newer release seems to be a bit looser on limits.

i'd expect to land one for a $15 limited released/brewery released beer...something that doesn't come to NY would be a good start. in my opinion, this one was better than barrel select 1.

 

I messaged Aaron from the Tasting Room and all he said was under 1000 bottles of each, BSB and Mother Barrel. They are the same base beer, different barrel treatments.

 

Pretty much confirmed the bottle counts were much lower that I though. As Dan already mentioned. About 1000 of each BSB and MB
