FOBAB 2014

The que controversy was made up on these pages by people who didnt know what they were talking about. It was completely random, not first in first out. But it gave people who didnt get tickets something to bitch about.

But it is just like dark lord in the sense that there are many more people who want to go than tickets available. Some people will get tickets, some won't. And the ones that wont will complain.

 

FoBAB on sale is August 25th
IMBIBE pre-sale is August 21-22nd

Is it too late to join IMBIBE and be eligible to purchase tickets before the general sale?

 

I don't think the membership lets you buy tickets early. You have to buy a ticket when the sale starts for the Friday session and then provide your ImBIBE email or paypal receipt to get an an hour early.

• 1 hour early entry into FoBAB 2014 (must have ticket purchased for 1st session)

Imbibe membership provides for 1 presale ticket only.

 

Is that just for Friday night, or can an Imbibe member purchase a presale Saturday ticket without the early entry.

 

Don't stress too much. They added an extra session and if you are when they get released you should be fine. Don't create more panic. That being said, it is an awesome festival, but I may not go this year.

I sent an email to Erin at The Illinois Craft Brewers Guild and he sent me this reply.

"Hey Brian,

It will be something that you'll need to get on right away. Tix usually sell out in a matter of minutes. They will go on sale on August 25 at 10am."

Hope that helps...Hope I can get tix, this will be my first if I do.
