Cool and very original idea for a beer series!!! Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, and Neptune all have my interest!!! I wonder if Saturn, the barrel aged barleywine will be English BW or American BW. My guess is that bells will hop it american style thats my guess. Awesome looking beer labels as well.

Talking to a friend who works in the cellar, he is certainly expecting Oracle to be brewed as usual. Granted, that does not mean he is privy to all plans or that they might not change, but I would not expect any changes to releases until we have more information.

Two DIPAs at once may not be the norm but I have little doubt that the can move both products without much fuss. I know I will still be picking up my annual case of Oracle, is Mars is worthy there could be two cases of DIPAs at my house this fall.

Third Coast Old Ale is an American Balerywine according to Bell's, an English Barleywine to a fair number of folks and an Old Ale to the rest. Granted this may have little bearing on Saturns recipe but Bell's does not go overboard on the hops like many of the other American Barleywines available today.

My guess is that Bell's will find some middle ground here, more mellowed and subdued hop profile out of the barrels and into the bottles.

I wonder if they made a bunch of the barleywine that was bottled for HBC last week and then tossed the rest in barrels(today according to their fb page)

And I wouldn't mind if they bottled hopsolution and called it mars. Id definitely have 2 cases of bells DIPA to send down the gullet.

I'd love it to be their Exp. Hop 2012-6 (Mosaic hopped DIPA) that they had back in 2012. I need that again in my life! I have been told that the "Larry's Latest" and "Exp. Hop" beers are being tested for the Upper Hand Brewery though, FWIW.

Does anyone have any idea how limited this will be? I really, really wanna pick some up since I'm a huge Bells fan, and I love Holst even more, but I don't know how much chasing I'll be willing to do for them.

My gut feeling is not too limited. Maybe Saturn but thats it. I already saw six packs of Mars sitting around today.
