The After-Workout Beer Phenomenon

    I run 20 miles a week and have a very physical job. I have to drink beer to keep from getting too thin.

    post workout only? how about replacing gatorade for professional athletes. Id like to see football players chugging a gose while on the sidelines :wink:

    More like a Radler or Shandy since those are typically sub 3% ABV.

    Nice read, thanks for tagging...certainly glad I can enjoy 2-3 beers per night and still cut body fat :wink:

    Immediately post workout I’ll take my BCAA’s (which contain electrolytes as well...I use Scivation’s Extend) and then enjoy my beverages :slight_smile: My body is pretty trained and has been since college so muscle soreness isn’t crazy bad for me. Plus I normally do an active recovery the following morning consisting of light cardio, stretching, and foam rolling.

    Not sure which variant BCAA is, but I'm also big into bourbon counties after working out. Good call
