    Ename Abbey Triple. Pears and flowers in a light invert sugar syrup, yet fairly dry. Great carbonation. Mm-hmm.

    Taking on another brand new beer for me, now that they distribute here: New Holland's The Poet.

    Man, I am really happy with how that picture turned out!

    After being mildly (but only mildly) disappointed in Dragon's Milk, I have to say: this is freaking outstanding. What a great, solid oatmeal stout. Compares favorably with Founders Oatmeal Stout, which IMO, is a benchmark of the (American version of) the style.

    Then again, I may be slightly biased towards ravens, E.A. Poe, and macabre subject matter:

    Wasn't a fan at all of Dragon's Milk but I am with you on The Poet. All the praise heaped upon that beer on this site is well earned.
