Sorry if this thread exists, i have not found it.
I have a good half dozen beers in my fridge that are beers i bought a few/ a six pack of and i just don't like, they're craft beers, and on their more expensive end, so i don't have the heart to just drain pour, but most of them are hoppy, so they won't be good for cooking, and they are definitely beyond what my friends would like. I'm sure i can't be the only one this happens to, as beer tends to come in packs of four or six, what do the rest of you do in this situation?

I would take that route if not for the calories

Especially with hoppy beers, I find that sometimes a little age on them can tilt the taste closer to the tolerable category.

    Short answer: Drink 'em.

maybe a quarter of my friends appreciate craft beer, but i kind of pride myself on picking things i know peole will like, i don't wanna give someone something i don't think that they'll like. But i guess it's better then taking up space in my fridge.

Cook with them. It's almost chili season.

i don't find that IPA's work great for cooking. Maybe a chili would swallow the bitterness.

Donate them to the homeless. I'm sure they'd be stoked.

Well, if you're not going to drink them, give them away, trade them, cook with them, or dispose of them, you're kinda screwed, man.

The only other option I can think is taking them out of the fridge and putting them in a vaguely marked box and stuffing them in the garage/attic/basement with other vaguely marked boxes until someone comes along generations down the road and finds the sad wasted beer time capsule. Then it's their burden and you're off the hook!

Pour them in the toilet where they belong. The sink is too good for them.

Leave em in the fridge for the dark sad Wednesday night when you don't have any good beer left.

I love grilling brats with hoppy beers

Sierra Nevada has a couple of recipes on their website using Torpedo, too. Besides that, like others have said, I am not opposed to leaving a few for months to experiment.

If you have no one to share them with, offer them up here as freebies.
I am sure that they are some one else's favorite.
