Almanac, The Bruery, and what jdklks said.
Lost abbey can be hit or miss, but when it's a hit can be right up there too.

What sours from Lost Abbey do you consider a miss?

So you're ignoring the off years of Cuvee de Tomme (both carbonation and inconsistent flavor), the ridiculous gushing of FdA batch 1, undercarbed Red Poppy, and some draft-only sour experiments that missed the mark?

Lost Abbey has produced some amazing sours, but pretending that they have a flawless track record is wishful thinking.

Firestone's BarrelWorks produces some fantastic sours.

Are you in Washington? Because there's a better forum if so.

Need to try that, from my experience everything from Alpine that isn't an IPA or Pale Ale is average. Gotta see what's up with Chez and Great

Don't think this one is easy, but honorable mention: SARA

Does Bear Republic Tartare count? I've really been liking it lately.

Almanac and Bruery, meh...Almanac lacks the fruit character and they all kinda taste the same. Bruery is easy to find, but overpriced and average. RR, get them if you can find them; Barrelworks is the ticket! Delicious and hugely underrated.

I know of a great site where you can post threads to trade for beer; it allows me to get brewery only's from side project, Hill Farmstead, New Glarus, Alchemists and more which I normally would have no access to. It's quite amazing actually.

In all seriousness though, BW is one of the best sour programs in the nation that I would guess wouldn't crack most people's top 5 list. Just saying.

Thank you everyone. Now who wants to trade beers? I would love to try something from Barrelworks. I can not get their beers where I live......
I have all "12 Beers of the Apocalypse" from Elysian. Can get Schooner Exact, Boundary Bay, Ice Harbor, etc. The only sour I have for trade is Passionfruit Sour by Burnside Brewing. It is good. Basic, not outstanding, but a solid entry level sour.

The beer selection in my hometown is limited. But I occasionally travel if you are looking for something specific from WA or OR. Or ID.
