Just an fyi, got to Treehouse at 5:30 and there's maybe 15-20 people waiting. Can't wait to get my hands on some Green!

 

yam Green is pretty much off the hook. Not sure it's *better* than Green. Theyre both absolutely phenomenal. That said, I'd give my left n*t for another batch of Very Green.

 

I'm not sure Green is better than Green either, but can the best really be better than itself?

Nah, I know you probably meant Julius. I prefer Green, but there is no hard rule to subjective taste, and I too share a love for Julio.

Any thoughts on the price bump to $7/14 for TWSS? I know you've got an expansion to work on, but come on, guys. Same thing with Tornado, which was definitely $6/12 maybe 6 months ago. You're making more beer, still selling it the same way, right out of the brewery... I love TH, but 'tis no bargain.

 

You should see what oxbow sells their top tier growlers for. FPA is $12 but the epic beers are like 18-24$ and I gladly pay for that.

I have no problem with people being fairly compensated for beer, those prices are completely reasonable IMO.

 

Didn't even notice, such a small increase.

 

I've only been to Tree House maybe 5-6 times, but based on those visits I'd say ANYTHING there would be a bargain at just $7.

 

Also craft beer is never a "bargain" its a privledge.

 

I wouldn't go that far. It's an Art, An appreciation on how these beers are created. It doesn't change the fact that these beers are getting more expensive every year, Mostly because of the limited supply of certain hops.

 

Pretty excited to make my first trip out to Treehouse on Saturday. Do you guys think they'll have more than That's What She Said on? Also what's the best place to grab food around there? I thought I remembered someone mentioning a good barbecue place a few pages back...

 

Yes, the On Tap page will be updated sometime this week. BT's Smokehouse in Sturbridge is the BBQ place and it is BYOB.

 

Awesome thanks! Can you drink your growlers at Treehouse? Does anyone ever do bottle shares there?
