First of all, have them join! Since posting can be restricted for a time, in the meantime just be their proxy for posting, and start any post from them with "From XYZ:"

No problem, they can just donate and mention their real name and I'll add them to the raffle. Make sure they use the same message though, they can email me to let me know of you can act as liaison, it doesn't matter to me friend.

I promised I wasn't going to show any media but I can't help it. These are the people we're helping. The CNN reporter says it all, in his entire career he's never seen a situation as desperate as this.

For the record, this isn't a gruesome video, it's footage of an impromptu rescue.

I kinda hope I'm drunk when deciding how much to give to this... tight month, but I really want to put something decent toward this.

I need to apologize to everyone for not posting updates on this as frequently as needed, trying to balance work with a new baby, but this is an extremely important cause so I'm forcing time as I am able.

First off, thank you to EVERYONE who has donated even $5, you guys are the most awesomest and it might not sink in, but you are literally saving the lives of children who are sick and need medicine they can't get and mothers who are dehydrated and just need clean water to drink. This emergency situation is unlike the unfortunate natural disasters that displace so many people, this is a situation where people are running for their lives from other people who are out to destroy them so you are STOPPING TERRORISM and that's awesome!

Second, another huge thanks to @Ol_Johnny_Skippelwicky who just added a NG Belgian Red and NG Raspberry Tart to the beer pool, I think that puts us at like 30 something picks which is around 8 drawings or something, I can't keep up with the generosity!

Here are two totals for the fundraiser: we've raised $425 through just our beer community, you guys are awesome! I thought it would be huge if we could clear $1000 so please consider donating if you guys are on the fence. There's still a really good chance you'll get to take home beer, and like I said, we're literally helping stop terrorism.

The campaign as a whole has raised over $30,000! I spoke to my friend in the beginning and this really just started out as a plan to do the right thing, money wasn't even considered. These guys decided they were going to risk their lives, go over there and help, and pay for everything out of their own pocket and just use whatever they received in donations to go towards aid. It was established that in order to be a success, they would need at least $14,000 and there were some concerns. I'm amazed that there are enough people with a good conscience that have helped hit that mark and even double it in just a couple weeks! No one expected this positive of a response. This isn't the Red Cross or UNICEF with huge marketing budgets, this is a group of people that are using the power of people like us to prevent innocent people from dying and it's spreading by word of mouth so thank you all again!

So take that $5 you're about to spend on a McDonald's Big Mac and use it to give water to a family of 5 people that are on the verge of death without it, PLEASE!
