Shout out to @TampaRainman for sending me a box with some awesome gems in it. We did a trade a couple of months back that went very well and have kept in touch since. Much to my surprise I received a PM from him last week with tracking information. This wasn't a trade, this wasn't a BIF, LIF etc. This was a classic example of a BA spreading the wealth of beer that they had. He didn't have to do it. But his consideration and generosity should not go unnoticed.

I think this happens a lot more than people know, but we just dont hear about it - we only hear the bad stuff. I have both sent and received boxes like this, and its what makes trading and having regular trading buddies fun. Nicely done, TampaRainman!
I did this for a guy I had traded with a few times. He really wanted to try some of the upland sours I had won in a lottery so I sent him two without asking for anything in return. A few months later I asked him for help acquiring a bottle he was already going to get and he said he was gonna hold out and see what he could get in trade. I felt like that was kinda shitty. I know he didn't owe me anything cuz I sent them just to be nice and didn't expect anything back. Tried to establish a good trade partner and didn't work out. Not a ba guy btw.

This s not an uncommon act of generoicty, some great ba out there. It off sets the dead beats by a mile. Have to say I have some tremendous trade partners.
Love seeing these stories pop up from time to time. Not an uncommon thing with so many great traders out there but Good to see in a forum dominated with issues
