Proceed with caution folks. Made a trade with this guy back in June. He stopped responding to my messages and he still is trying to trade with others. I never received the Great, V013, and track beer of his choice that he agreed to.

Did you use the trade feedback feature? Do you have his phone number? Why did it take so long to call him out? Seems that there is not a lot of details here, can you explain how it dragged out for 3 months? @TacosNbeers can we hear your side of the story please?

Yeah, due to this thread. Cards did actually call him out in a separate thread a few months ago but it was deleted. I don't want to go into details as to why so this thread doesn't meet the same fate. If you want more info, pm me or Cards but @TacosNbeers isn't someone I would deal with.

As already mentioned, don't confuse with the other "tacos". I already made that mistake, lol.

Sorry to hear this guys. He flaked on an agreed trade (that he proposed mind you) and is not to be trusted. I'll leave it at that.

Wow, just looked at my DNT list, you r right! I remember this guy now… Shame on him for continuing to trade without taking care of @CardsWinAgain , looked the old link up and it is deleted.
I knew there was a reason you followed him.

Likewise, I can't see that link either. Since I can ususally see deleted threads, something bad happened there.

Cardswinagain didn't send me anything. We made a bet and I lost but was going out of town for work a few days after the nba finals were over and couldn't get the box out before I left. I had notified him prior to me leaving and said that I would get it out as soon as I returned. He then called me out as a bad trader before I even returned.
With barrythebear we were setting up a trade and then I changed my mind. Nothing had been shipped, he's just mad because I changed my mind.

Not sure exactly why this was locked, but I've reopened it at my own peril.

@CardsWinAgain is it true that you didn't send anything?

    No.

@TacosNbeers since you aren't reading your messages from me, I'll go ahead and ask here: do you plan on making this right?

You had a week to ship before you were leaving town. I asked nicely that you please ship before you left, at which point you ceased communication and failed to check all future messages from me, yet you were seen online often.. Thus, prompting me to call you out, as it was apparent that you were ignoring my messages.. Sorry if you feel it was premature, but communication is key...

It seems like every time one of these "bets" happens, the loser fails to pay up. Maybe because they're not risking bad feedback from an official trade, but I'd say, in general, that everyone should be very wary of beer bets in the future.

Until we see the actual messages, this is a he said/she said situation. He says he told you he couldn't send it until he got back, but you wanted it earlier. Did he agree to send it earlier? If not, you just wanting him to send it doesn't immediately make him a bad trader, and you probably jumped the gun the first time around. But if he STILL hasn't paid up, then NOW he's a bad trader.

Man up and pay your bet @TacosNbeers , even though your jimmies were rustled. Lets finish this up.

(on a side not, why are there 3 people with some iteration of tacos and beer as their user name!?)

Not mad at all brother. I was asked to clarify some feedback I had left for you and I did so. In fact, I did not specifically call you a bad trader, just someone who had agreed to a trade and then backed out and to proceed with caution. That said, I'm glad I decided to leave the feedback that I did.

@StonedRaider will attest that not ALL of us who lose bets don't pay!

There is simply no way to overemphasize this statement. It should be considered the golden rule of beer trading (and life in general). Things happen, but if you can't clearly communicate circumstances or your intentions, and make certain it is understood, you have no business even responding to an ISO or posting an FT. Can be very frustrating sometimes.

@markgugs is legit. He bombed my porch above and beyond what was originally agreed upon. I felt dirty accepting all those goods. I felt the need to make an attempt at revenge. These things don't always have to go bad. Sometimes things work out better then you figured they would.

Markgugs is legit. Sent me a killer package a while ago out of the kindness of his heart. Didn't forget and I still have the shipper. Soon as I get straightened out with disability, it will be returned. Again, thank you.

    I remember that!

But seriously, I remember reading that story of how you fell from the tree, and with times being tough and all...and I just had to send some tasty treats your way. BUT, the one thing I don't need is beer. So if you DO want to do something nice for someone, find the next guy who could use a sunny day and pay it forward. Cheers my man, I hope you & your wife are doing well.
