Typical Ohio Fan.... Always Talking about how good they are. It's funny that Big Blue's little brother is now beating up on the Scarlet ladies!

"Big Blue" has sucked for many years and now are the little sisters of Michigan.

I am not sure how good OSU will be this year sans Miller, but they will still beat UM.

^ OSU will struggle with or without Braxton. I believe Mike is simply pointing out how BAD Michigan is right now. You know it's true.

As a Michigan fan is more of a Distinguished, Classy, and overall Respectable individual; Yes, it has been a rough 10 years.... That all changes when the UofM Messiah Les Miles comes home to replace said "Fred Flintstone" (btw, I never heard that one!! I like it!) The only difference is that UofM Nation is not afraid to admit it, whereas Ohio Fans can lose every game and still claim to be the "Best"

The day has come where a Michigan fan is taunting us by way of Sparty.

What a sad state of affairs your program is in.

Lose every game? Nice try, but that has never happened in football at tOSU... Whereas way back in 1881, scUM lost every game and I can still hear their fans claiming to be the best.

Good news is that state up there isn't a finalist for the Stone expansion... they've got enough amazing breweries already.

I'll take our breweries, too, over theirs.

I'm originally from Indiana and I'll say Michigan wins the breweries. Also natural scenery and things to do outdoors. Also Detroit is cooler than any city in Ohio.

Ohio definitely has the better college sportsball team, though. Anyone defending Michigan's football program is just holding on to 40 year-old history.

Your opinion, I disagree. I wouldn't trade Fat Head's, Jackie O's or JAFB for anything up there. And Detroit a cool city? Eh, ok...

I harbor no grudge for Michigan, despite the football rivalry, just love my Ohio beers.

Good thing you live in Ohio, then. I love Michigan beer, but I'll admit that some of my favorite beers come from out of state. But in terms of broad quality Bell's, Founders, and Dark Horse are on another level.

And yeah, Detroit is a cool city. People that bash it are typically those that don't know where to go or haven't been there recently.

It's all preference. None of those breweries can make an IPA like I can get here in Ohio and never liked Bells at all. Jackie O's is as good or better than anything I can get up there, too, in terms of stouts/barrel aged. My favorite MI brewery is Kuhnhenn and I like Odd Side a lot too.

I may or may not be in the minority opinion, but it doesn't matter much because it is my opinion and it isn't going to change unless some new stuff opens up there.

I feel the same way about Cleveland, so I get your point.

You're definitely in the minority opinion because pretty much every crowd sourced ratings web site disagrees with you. That's why I said it's a good thing you live in Ohio; I can't extend the same sentiment to everyone else living in Ohio.

The majority is wrong much of the time. Drink whatever you like, but I bet if you came here I could make a better case by showing you things you never knew existed.

Ohio can't even come close to Michigan Brews... Bells, Founders, Shorts, Atwater, Dark Horse, Oddside, Kuhnhenn, Greenbush, Arcadia, New Holland, Dragonmead, and soooooo many More! I will say though I recently traded for some Head Hunter, and I'm very impressed... That's a TERRIFIC Beer

As for Detroit, Don't judge until you know. The hottest fires produce the hardest steel. We are one of the best sports city's in the nation. We also have some of the best Music & Entertainment. Motown, Eminem, White Stripes, Bob Seger, Ted Nugent, Kid Rock... Cleveland can Keep their Warrant & Wild Cherry!! :grinning:

Some of those breweries you listed aren't very good, IMO. But that's all subjective and my opinion is no more valid than yours. The thing with Ohio is twofold 1) Younger brewing scene and a lot of what we have doesn't make it out of Ohio 2) Michigan can't touch Ohio in IPAs and that is my favorite style.

I don't bag on Detroit, it is ok by me. Cleveland is a great sports town too, but our teams suck ass!!

I never said Ohio didn't have the better breweries. I think I would take Ohio at this point as well. Great Lakes, Fat Head's, Jackie O's, Thirsty Dog, Hoppin Frog, Columbus Brewing Co., Brew Kettle, Rivertown, among others. A lot of great stuff coming out of Ohio. I would love to see Stone in Columbus... they would immediately become the biggest brewery in the area and help put Columbus on the map, as they are already thriving in the craft beer scene (albeit mostly small scale operations) at the moment.

Kid Rock is the sole inspiration for birth control. His fans appear to be worse, so I'm not sure what that makes them.

Ohio definitely wins for its IPAs, but I enjoy Michigan breweries more. They rock just like Detroit.
