Do you guys have beers that you love, which are spectacular beers, but that you cannot bring yourself to drink any more because you've had them so often, possibly because they were the only good beers you had access to? I feel this way about Rouge's beers, and Samuel Adams. Dead Guy is a great beer, as are their various stouts, and Samuel Adams' line is, for me, the Gold Standard. But when I lived in southern West Virginia they are the only truly good beers I had regular access to, and drank so often that now I just can't.

Are there any beers you have overdrank?

Come to think of it, since joining the forum i dont think ive drank the same beer twice. Besides light beers at a couple cookouts. Im always getting pick 6s and discovering new types of beers and liking them all!

The only beer I drink way too much of and continue to do so is great lakes dortmunder gold. I will never lose my taste for that beer. =) So I guess the answer is no. For most beers I am a one and done kind of drinker.

Not a particular beer, but I burned myself out on bourbon-barrel beers this past winter. It felt like that was all I drank for two months straight.

Well not ever had a beer I liked that I could drink too much of it? sort of like jumbo shrimp, or military intelligence.
If you like it, but you drank it so much your now sick of it?

nope. we was In Belgium early this year, and I bought as much Orval as I could find, for 2 months I drank like 4 or 5 a day. If I could have afford more I would have drank more. my drinking day starts at 9am and ends about 8pm. meaning I "could" have a beer in that window If I choose too. not like I drown myself.

This last trip might have been our last , so I was over doing a bit. in fact no 1 bottle of westy made it home, sigh, oh well...
was fun to sit at the cafe though.

I suspect that if you were still in southern West Virginia, you'd still be drinking these beers without issue. Now that you have other options, you'd simply rather focus on these new and appealing options for the time being. Am I way off?

I've been drinking an awful lot of Stickee Monkee this summer. It's absurdly good, and there is a seemingly endless supply at the grocery store where I do my shopping. I don't know if I'm physically capable of passing by the cooler without buying one. Every week I kinda secretly hope it will be gone, but it's always there waiting...

I haven't had any particular beer too much, but I've certainly had too much beer generally.
