    No?

    Fuck no.

They are £10 and £15 here and we are well known for being a country where consumers are ripped off.

A couple local bars in St Louis that do package sales have different prices for on premises and to-go, I'd inquire about that. Otherwise F those prices

Both of them are roughly 8 Euro at the brewery. 8 Euro is roughly $11. You have to figure fair mark up is anywhere from $25-$50. Neither are worth the price they are asking for them. There are many other fantastic Gueuzes and Krieks that aren't anywhere near that expensive. If I was going for the tick, I would get the LPK first.

I've not tried either beer, but those two are at a much higher price point than I think is either fair or reasonable. I'd not buy them.

Overall, $35 for a 750ml is about my absolute max

Horribly overpriced. For reference, in April I bought a 2010 sticker LPG at a bar, drink in, for $22.

wow, only if your rich enough to think that its only money..you could ask in the benelux forum and I bet you could do a trade or get a shipment cheaper discounting the shipping of course.
for that matter I know some mail order places cheaper than that.

Lol. A shop near me had Vignerrone and Cuvee St. Gilloise for about $24 each last month. I mean, it's rare to see these on the shelf, and it's entirely up to you whether or not you want to purchase them, but those prices are outrageous, and I wouldn't give my money to a place charging that much.

meh. those are bar prices. If you want to buy those bottles at a bar those are the prices.

If you have the money and want to try them. buy them.

but those are redic prices for a bar.

I'd buy the LP kriek in a heartbeat at that price.

Great bees but really high prices. They should be in the $35 to $45 range.

I wish these were priced highly enough so as not to sell out the second they hit shelves. I'm pretty sure that puts me in the minority of consumers, though. Then again, even at $75 a pop, I expect most limited Cantillon will sell out quickly.

It's people willing to pay these ridiculous prices that allow places to get away with selling these at ridiculous prices :slight_frown:
