Now on to this. Only conclusion from the Bears game so far is that Russell Wilson is good. Cheers all!

That's one of my favorite dogfish head beers of all time. The only thing not traditional about it is the chai tea spicing. They went about the rest of it pretty traditionally, they got help from a Finnish brewer for it. Super traditional is actually bakers yeast, but the flavors are required to have some pretty significant banana flavors, so the weizen yeast was used. Try and find the Nogne O one, dunno if they still make it, but that one is more traditional. Check out the new draft BJCP guidelines, they have it as a historic beer now, page 67. Cheers

    Revisit reviews.

Great stuff. Head lasted forever basically. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, floral, grass, pine, light caramel, and floral/grassy earthiness. Good amount of pine/citrus rind bitterness on the finish. Fairly slick and sticky mouthfeel. A small amount of cloying bitterness, but not too bad. Fair bit of warmth going down, so not super smooth at the ABV. Overall excellent. (bringing my 4.63 to 4.15, I have really been weeding out those early over-ratings when I can)

Damn good witbier, only 21 reviews on here. Belgium sure gets the cold shoulder. Taste of lemon, pear, apple, white grape, orange peel, coriander, white pepper, lightly tart wheat, hay, straw, grass, herbal, light funk, and yeast earthiness. Nice light tartness on the finish. Extremely well balanced yeast, spice, and pale malt flavors. Good amount of robustness in flavors as well. Very smooth and crisp and a bit bready in the mouthfeel. Deliciousss

Original not oak aged, 2011 probably. Damn good stuff! Malt showcase. Taste of big raisin, prune, fig, cherry, date, molasses, toffee, toast, brown bread, slight roast, herbal, and toasty/yeast earthiness. Bitterness is pretty much zilch, along with hops. No cloying sweetness. Smooth, creamy, and fairly slick mouthfeel. Very low alcohol heat. I am going to have to check the bottle production code after the I get the second pour in. Probably older than 2011 me thinks.

New Glarus Staghorn Octoberfest. Liking it a lot better than last year. It tastes exactly the same, I think I'm just more prone to enjoying this style now
