    I hear you OP, I have a similar frustration with glassware.

    It's when people open a bomber and don't properly pour the whole thing into a CBS snifter. FOR SHAME!

    You are the one guy that I would expect to have 1,500 glasses. I guess only the Cantillon's have to be in their correct glass? haha.

    I love drinking beer out of it's designated glass but my feelings are not hurt if they don't match. Lately almost every beer has gone into my HotD tulips.

    Did I make you proud last night?

    LOL! Don't forget Drie Fonteinen and Fantome have to go in proper glasses as well. :slight_smile: I do have WELL over 200 different glasses though...

    I'm totally with the OP on this one. That's why I keep a glass on hand from every brewery in the world. :sunglasses:

    I agree with you, being close to you 1300+, I think as long as its the proper glass for the style. I dont care whats on the side of it.

    Cheers!

    Every time I walk into a store and decide to try a new beer from a new brewery, I have to let it sit for a while so I can wait to have the proper glassware shipped to me.

    Hope you don't do this for Cantiillon stuff, or I will show up and buy it all. :grinning:

    Dear OP,
    I am guilty of this. I would love to rectify the situation--please, feel free to help me stop my sinful ways by sending me all of the proper glassware that will be needed to correct my horribly behavior. Thanks.

    Im the same way with Imperial Pints. But when using an oversized snifter I have no problem leaving a large gap between the glass and the beer

    It's a pet peeve of mine when people use the word Belgium instead of Belgian.

    Sorry, the most appropriate glass for a scotch ale is a thistle. You don't even have the style of glassware right! Since it's barrel-aged, a technique developed by Americans, then I guess we can let it pass...

    On it's way. You'll want to sit by your mailbox until it arrives. Don't lose faith....it'll come. Trust me. >:}

    I have found that I really like to drink all beer from IPA's to stouts out of a red wine glass. The particular one I have doesn't have a stem, so it seems more manly.

    That's just the part of the brain that wants everything in life to work together. Companies prey on it all the time. You like the Raiders? Well a Raiders toothbrush will provide the best possible oral hygiene.
