The last keg of YR blew on Sunday. I was told by Rhys that it would be the last one they'd receive on a regular basis...random pony kegs from here on out. On to search for it elsewhere 4 growlers.

Hopefully that means Austin will see it more haha. Damn Vintage HEB gets all of the YR.

Well, booo. Whole Foods usually has some. But at least we have options! Jive Bar on Louetta is always pouring YR. And I think Mellow Mushroom has put it on their regular list.

That's because there have only been 60 reviews, mostly from TX, compared to any of the other top IPAs. Yellow Rose is still very hard to come by, even in TX and its draft or growler only. If they can start making more of it and put it in cans, then demand outside of TX might start to change. But right now its limited to who can actually try it.

It blew Sunday at WF SL as well. I had my growler in the car and was on my way there. Called them to make sure they still had it and was informed it had blown within the past hour. :slight_frown:

Had it. Bought about 4 growlers of it and 6 pints. Believe the hype. An amazing SMaSH IPA. I still got a bit at a friend's place (thankfully they aren't heavy hopheads), but unfortunately it's probably gone a tad flat by now.

... Excuse me, I need to go get my growler. Dat Mosaic...

Sorry, I was the one who drank most of it. 1/2 barrel keg blew within 4 days of tapping.

You can only get it on draft right now, and it tastes best fresh. Like, drink it with 24 hours if you store it in a growler. Otherwise, they are a pretty new brewery, so not much recognition yet.

hahahaha, no worries, glad it went to someone who enjoys it. I'll be more diligent in my efforts next time.

I know people occasionally hate on this beer, but no hyperbole: Its the best hoppy beer ever brewed in this state, imo

Still the only beer I always order if I see it on tap wherever im at

Managed to find it at the flying saucer in sugar land today. This beer lives up to the hype. It was phenomenal. Read somewhere that they were gonna start bottling in September. So hopefully after that news of this beer will spread.

Definitely gonna have to track a place down for a growler fill, and bring it back to TN with me.

I pretty much insist on sending a growler of YR if a trading partner wants something hoppy from Texas. I've sent out a bunch of growlers to out of towners and they've all loved it. I'm definitely proud this beer is brewed in Texas!!

I really wish I liked Mosaic, but I just don't think I do.

...even still, I could drink a pretty good amount of YR, somehow.

Went to Jive Bar for the 1st time last week and they were out of Yellow Rose. Will definitely be going again though. Nice selection for the area I still remember when it was Bayou A Drink.
Try calling Hop Scholar off of Rayford. Don't know if it's too far from you but I've had Yellow Rose there before and they also sell to go.
