Florida beer releases

I made all my co-workers watch it today. You know, because I'm famous now

 

Speaking of FL releases, kudos to the staff at Knightly Spirits here in Orlando for a very smooth beer release of El Cid. I believe this is the fourth release of the Campeador series collab with CCB, and they ran it like clockwork. CCB rep was on hand with pours of Huna, Zhukov, Seabass, and previous Campeador among others. Had my doubts about going, very glad I went this fine Saturday AM.

Well, that much is true. I am insane. Ray, what's up my brother ? I still have that RareR for a future share with you. I plan on hitting CCB soon, at least as soon as they release Good Gourd. Maybe talk Drei into it?

 

The El Cid Campeador release went very well...... because it was at Knightly Spirits and not CCB. I decided to skip out on the most recent Hunahpu Day and go skiing at Jay Peak instead, and it was one of the top 10 decisions of my life after I heard about the fiasco.

 

Are there any fun beer happenings/releases going on 9/18-96? I will be visiting from WI just seeing if anything is happening that week. Thanks!

I had a great time at Hunahpu's Day.

And you are right, it had nothing to do with there being a couple hundred beer nerds early in the morning vs. thousands of drunken beer nerds drinking all day.

 

I no longer pay attention to all these releases and it is fucking awesome. No lines, no driving out of my way, no stressing over line cutters/will I get a beer. I now spend the money I would have paid on one bottle and buy a case of All Day IPA or a couple 6 packs of Invasion. The piece of mind from not giving a shit is greater than any beer to be had at a bottle release.

 

What Danimal said is basically my life now.
