    Hey all!

Picked up a few bottles of CCB Big Sound BBA last week in hopes of being able to find some trades for imperial stouts I am really looking to try, but not sure exactly what I would be able to land though. Been a user and lurker of BA for a while now, but still extremely rookie when it comes to trades. Any vets help a newb out?

    Thanks in advance.

    ^^what he said^^
BA Big Sound is a wee heavy that's not rare. You can expect to get $4$ for whatever you might want.
If you have access to locals that someone from, say, CA can't get, then it would help you.
I would post a ISO: (whatever stouts you like) FT: CCB Big Sound + locals
    Something like that.

You may have to be flexible as well. Wasn't BA Big Sound something like $25? That could be a bit of a turn off when trying to trade $4$ with other limited shelf beers that are say $15. I guess it mainly depends on what you're looking for.

Thanks for those resources CFH (great name btw), going to do some reading today. I've been going through and adding wants on here, trying to see what is realistic or not. It's tough thinning the herd :stuck_out_tongue:

I tried for Zhukov when I was in Florida for Vacation and just missed it unfortunately. I figured I'd grab BA Big Sound to possibly help with getting my hands on it or some others I am wanting to try. I grabbed three bottles, so I was definitely looking forward to drinking one, trades permitting. If you change your mind or want something local up here let me know!

Best way to start out IMO is set up a locals for locals trade. Agree on a rough dollar amount and let each other know favored styles and go from there. Good way to try new things and I've had people send me (and vice versa) some really nice and well regarded brews. I'd do this with you if I didn't put myself on a brief trading hiatus until I have some expenses taken care of

Oh, and if you are going to go after something sought after or rare do yourself a favor and look at other trades involving that beer, otherwise you are a young lamb throwing yourself to a pack of hungry wolves

Thanks for the tips! Hopefully I can get something going soon and also work out a fair trade. Going to keep exploring local distributors and breweries for trading power. All in due time, I suppose.
