If you cannot polish off a 99 pack, then my top 5 cans in Austin right now are:

Hops and Grain - Pale Dog
Hops and Grain - Zoe
Austin Beerworks - Fire Eagle
Real Ale - White
Hops and Grain - Greenhouse IPA

With that said, I only did local beer. And Greenhouse may not be available. I obviously like H&G.

All these beers are regular extra's in my box's and everyone loves em. My list would look very similar to most of these.

 

Hops and grain- they do a great job. No one mentioned their alt though, which is fantastic- I prefer the style over Zoe. Green house releases are always great too. Real ale white is another great summer brew that you can find in Austin.

That's my list coming from out of town- though it looks like I need to give infamous IPA a shot too. On a side note: I'll be in austin tomorrow to Friday, any shot at Greenhouse? Planning on dragging a coworker or two to H&G which is where I caught last batch and hope to get lucky again , but would love to bring a 6er back too

 

Saw plenty of greenhouse cans at some hebs and whole foods south lamar

 

Check the dates on the bottom of the 4 Squared cans. I had an old one a few days ago and it was not very tasty.

I am sure the best cans you will find in Austin will be the Co-Eds on Sixth Street.......

I am surprised nobody has mentioned the Oasis Brewing beers. I think they are remarkable beers and of course in a can, so check all three of those beers. http://otxbc.com/category/beers/

Also, from other parts of Texas that are worth your time, anything from Karbach and Southern Star. From the Dallas area I would recommend Four Corners El Chingon, Deep Ellum IPA and Martin House Imperial Texan.
