I would blame that on the canning line given how good & consistent the draft IPA has been at the little neighborhood Italian joint we frequent, Angelo's on 6th Ave...

Well a little birdie... at a bar in RiNo that may or may not be named after the item that holds sticks used to light cigarettes... told me and a buddy a few years back that they stopped buying kegs from DBC cause they did such a bad job at it. Maybe they've gotten better? This was only specific to Graham Cracker Porter, and several years ago.

after the Brewery Formerly Known as Denver Pearl fiasco, I will pass on guessing which batch from DBC is good enough to drink.

A-Town pizza has been carrying GCP for a couple months so I've made a habit of trying it when they have it. Even the kegs seem to vary quite a bit from batch to batch. Nothing seems "off" but the sweetness, smoke, and crackery notes aren't super consistent. I put it head to head with the DD vanilla porter and it wasn't even in the same ballpark. Different beers I know, but I think they're trying to scratch the same general itch.
