Has anyone tried the new enjoy by yet? I wasn't a huge fan of the last release as it seemed kind of "mild" compared to the previous ones. Any thoughts on the new release?

I was waiting for this post. well 4/20 had the most dankness. then 7/4 seemed to be more "oniony". 8/16 seemed less so but still garlic. and now this one was more mild. :grinning:haha seriously tho, I have never noticed a difference between any of them. So many factors come into play that make it seem different. Same recipe. Why don't we just start a "this batch of (Insert beer here) seems different than the last" post

Didn't know there even was one. Is it a national release again?

I hope we get it soon, my store didn't get the last batch, but my favorite tap joint had it...really nice, I like it so much better on tap than in the bottles

I found this one to be a lot like 7/4. After having several bottles of 4/20 I haven't found one since that has lived up to it. the 9/20 was okay...but I'm not running out to find another one.

I bought 2 and after having one will probably buy more. World class IMO.

Had it and a Sucks side by side. Enjoyed the Sucks more. So does that mean it is a bad beer? No. Have I enjoyed other Enjoy By dates better? I would say yes, but it is kind of hard to prove as you cannot taste them side by side unfortunately.

I had both the 4/20 and 7/4 I thought the 4/20 was better...not by far but it just seemed to be more crisp and flavorful. I look forward to trying the 9/20.

It's the same great beer every damn time. It's the (mis)handling of the cases that varies from person to person, and batch to batch. NOT the beer. Why is this a thread every time a new batch comes out??

Or it's the fact that humans are human...highly fallible while wanting to believe that we're not.

Or it's the beer changing as it gets closer to its enjoy by date.

Greg!! Yep, variation in a beer surely has to do with many factors that have nothing to do with the awesome Stone brewers. I am pretty sure by now they know how to brew a beer very consistently!

BTW, great meeting you again at 18th anni party, was my first one was AWESOME!
