FFF Moloko Stout - Best Batch Ever!?!

    Oh My. After a long BA hiatus and where I tried to cut down my craft consumption I find myself back to this great site out of joy and happiness to relay my feelings of this beer to the rest of the BA community.

    I've always been a fan of Moloko, and milk stouts in general like Left Hand's stuff, but Oh My.

    Bought a bottle today, drove three hours away, cooled it, and sipped on it for several hours in amazement. This was bottled several weeks ago.

    Have others had this year's yet? Do you agree it's up there for the best if not the best as I claim? WOW. As I've said before and will probably continue to say as long as I drink beer, once again well done Three Floyds.

    A local beer bar just put a keg of Moloko on yesterday evening. I'm hoping to get a pint on draft before the weekend is over. But yes, I do agree that it is a superb milk stout - one of my personal favorites (right alongside Sam Smith's Organic Chocolate Stout)

    This year's batch is never as good as last years batch, you know that. Looks like that hiatus got to you.

    I miss when Moloko was $7/bottle and at that price me and a good friend thought "why not, we'll go in for a whole case" and didn't feel bad about the hit that caused on the wallet.

    I sure hope this is the case I just paid $12 for a bottle! Will report back with my findings later this weekend.

    Just picked one up in Chi-town last weekend and will be cracking it open tomorrow...my buddy who lives there raved about it being their best Moloko he's had. <resists urge to have it with breakfast this morning>

    Moloko is my favorite stout FFF makes even over dark lord. Idk if its the best batch yet but no doubt its still awesome. Its also one of the very few darker beers they distribute that isn't hopped like an IPA. *cough* Alpha Klaus *cough*

    It was excellent this year, Im still waiting for them to release Toxic Revolution again.. hopefully.. That IMO is their best nonBA stout.
