He asks for ales or lagers right in his post. He's looking for refreshing lawnmower/pizza type beers. I love the light, yet quality taste of of a prima pils on a warm summer day...just my opinion

Basically anything from Great Lakes...Eliot Ness, Dortmunder, Oktoberfest, even the Commodore Perry IPA, or Burning River Pale Ale will work.

Firestone Walker Pivo Pils is a staple in my fridge. You might want to check out some Saisons as well. Of coarse Saison Dupont is great, as well as Ommegang Hennepin and Glimmerglass are really well done. Just to name a few.

Amstel Light is the beeriest beer I've ever had. It's not "craft" but it's beery.

    Agree with this 100%.

If you want cheap, crushable beer with a touch of beer flavor I would also consider Coors Banquet.

Gose by Westbrook - a bit different but I love this when I'm really hot after cutting grass or otherwise working outside. The sourness really quenches your thirst.

If I could find Southpaw Light here, I'd try it again as a "beery beer."

Find a Massachusetts connection willing to trade you anything and everything from Jack's Abby. Case closed.

I complemented my purchase of Weihenstephaner Original yesterday with a sixer of Anchor California Lager, which I think is the answer you are looking for.
Especially out of a 5L mini keg!

Ditto on that! I'm not sure how that one slipped my mind, but that's another great one.
