    Lagunitas Nighttime was an excellent Black IPA;
    Lagunitas Cappuccino Stout was one of the creamiest, most ridiculously well-made, non- BA Imperial Stouts I've had;
    and Lagunitas Imperial Red, which I just had fresh, was a super hoppy, refreshing, and one of the most perfectly-suited-to-the-season beers I've had in a while.

    And all of these bombers are $5 per 22 oz. I know that an $12 six-pack is still cheaper, but I think Lagunitas is killing it, and other breweries need to follow suit with such well-priced quality bombers released seasonallly.

    Thoughts?

    My brother and I just shared a Imperial Red last night and said almost the same thing. Great beer at a great value that is so easily attainable. I'm sick of $10+ bombers.

    Lagunitas always kills it in my opinion. Even down to what they write on the bottles/packs. I enjoy every bit of my Lagunitas experiences.

    Agreed 100%. The price point and quality of the beer you get for it is nearly unmatched.

    This is why I love Lagunitas. Making good brews widely available and trolling the trade market.

    Stone is about the only brewery that can come close to the price/quality of bombers. It's hard to beat $3.99 Stone IPA.

    The bombers have been awesome but sumpin extra in 6 packs was my favorite lagunitas release of the year. Can't wait for sumpin wild to drop!

    Lag Red is my favorite just behind Nugget Nectar. What a fantastic Red IPA and I have already bought 3 bombers.

    Agreed! I thought Nighttime was a delicious Black IPA and the value is great. You're always going to pay more per ounce for a bomber; but Lagunitas offers some of the cheapest options out there.

    Amen to all the above. Lagunitas and Stone both produce highly drinkable and very enjoyable beers at a great price for the quality.

    Not even close to that price in Mass, add $3 maybe $5.99 in some places. Used to be a staple in my rotation until the giant price jump. Still love their beers and would be in contention for the "if I could only drink from one brewery" debate.

    Sucks is an amazing beer, one of my absolute favorite IPAs but after buying the first one I saw, I can't justify paying $8 for a 32 oz bottle. Not when six packs of the same beer can be had in the right season $2 more for more than twice the amount of beer.

    I agree with everything in this thread except for the Cappuccino Stout love. One of the most underwhelming coffee beers I've had. Lagunitas's hoppy offerings are fantastic but they should just ditch the dark beers from their lineup because it obviously isn't their forte. Might as well ditch Hairy Eyeball while they're at it...Okay let's bring the mood back up: can't wait for Little Sumpin' Wild!

    This begs the question: how do breweries price their bombers? I was thinking about this yesterday as I was walking out of the liquor store with a bomber of Space Station Middle Finger. I paid $12/22 oz. The local bar had it on tap for $5/16 oz. I'm paying more to get it at the liquor store than at the bar! That seems counter-intuitive to me. Any thoughts?

    lagunitas has the best price point vs quality of any brewery hands down. I can't wait for sucks season to come back. That stuff is cheaper for six than most four packs of similar quality.

    especially since the sixers can sometimes be found for $8.99 and they fly off the shelves so they are always fresh when in season, vs 32 oz bombers that sit and fester

    5.99 is pretty standard. but you do see 6.99 enough.

    still bombers of the same quality go for 8 - 11 commonly. I agree that it's not nearly as good a deal as lagunitas six packs, but it's still good as far as bombers go
