Went on the website just now and saw these new offerings in the pipeline:

New 2x beer added for early winter:
    2x Presso
    Per website:
Espresso is a drink that is not for the faint of heart. Pulling a perfect shot is as much a science as it is an art form. Come to think of it, the same can be said for brewing beer. Of course, both coffee and beer have certain, shall we say ‘uplifting’ qualities. Combine the two is a natural progression.
Our 2xStout is considered by many to be a perfect milk stout. We started with that in mind, and added espresso beans and lemon peels for a true Italian style pick-me-up. The result is a stout so black, so rich, so creamy, it’d be at home in a café along a cobblestone street in some neighborhood in Rome. Yet, it’s beer.

Then also a new series titled "Brewers Star Series" that sounds like it will touch on beers from around the world starting with a British style IPA:
    Brit Hop
    Per website:
This series is inspired by the hard working guys in the brewhouse. Their tireless efforts make something delicious from a whole lot of water and raw materials.
To carry this idea forward, we decided to write our recipes based on different ingredients from around the world. Each beer will focus on a specific country or region. First on our list is a tip of the cap to the great beers of Britain. Brit Hop is an Imperial British Style India Pale Ale brewed with hops and malts imported from “the Isles.”

Might be. I think the only beer from them I wasn't impressed by was Krampus. Everything else has been solid to fantastic.

I love southern tier. I thought that harvest was a touch sweet this year BUT when I am looking for a regional powerhouse who is constaatnly brewing new beer I can always depend on southern tier. I need to try this expresso beer called 2XPresso!

The only beer from southern tier that I get excited for is pumking and even that has been a letdown the last two years. Warlock was good though

I have had the 2X Rye, awesome stuff. I wasn't that gung-ho for the 2X IPA, but the 2X One was interesting this year.

The Creme Brulee was amazing, but not something you have every day, or even every month. I do want to try the Chokolat. I had the Goat Boy, was not disappointed!

I want to try their porter but my LBS wants me to order a whole case for them to get it...

Ha! For the longest time I have used the descriptor 'espresso with lemon peel' to describe hoppy stouts (like SN), and now somebody has finally come and taken the idea literally. I guess I have to try that one at least.

I have good feelings about the Brit IPA as well.

They have a pretty positive success rate by me, and some of their stuff (like Grand Arbor) can be real sleepers- so I don't see myself letting these slip through my fingers.

Looking forward to the 2xPRESSO. I'm positive it will be a slam dunk - ST's stouts have never let me down.

I feel as though Southern Tier just uses syrups to flavor their beers. Some are tasty but there is an overwhelming syrup presence. When you drink your Pumpking this fall, keep that in the back of your mind and you'll agree...

Breweries like Goose Island take the extra effort to flavor their beers with actual ingredients and it makes all the difference (i.e. Cherry Rye Bourbon County).

Southern Tier used to be a brewery that I didn't really pay much attention to. The last few years, however, I've been loving just about every new thing they've put out. Can't wait to try these two new beers!

I love a bunch of Southern Tier stuff. Living in AZ and being from upstate N.Y. I always try their stuff when I go home. Heading there in a couple weeks and I'm hopping to get my hands on some Pumpking.
