    drinkin' my first Westbrook IPA. got it at Piggly Wiggly at the Market Common in Myrtle Beach from the "beer guy" there. He was way way helpful as I drove down from Calabash looking for some good local brew. I am a neophyte having discovered real beer only a couple of months ago at a great new restaurant called Fire and Smoke in Myrtle Beach. Had my first "craft beer" ever; Ommegang Abbey Ale and haven't looked back since. I cannot believe I have wasted my life drinking YuengLing and Heineken and Stella and thinking I was having some good beer! My life has now changed for the better at age 67!! I have some Ommegang Abby Ale in the fridge along with a few Three Philosophers, a few Dogfish Head 90 minute IPAs and some Sierra Nev Torpedo Extra IPAs, a "six" of Westbrook IPAs (minus one) and a "four" of Stone Ruination IPAs. Is it too late at age 67 to really enjoy life and some REALLY good beers? HELL NO !! So anyway, for the Westbrook IPA I am drinkin' now, 'ts got a great head, a little cloudy in the glass, very very tasty with a fruity aroma and I am not even finished with the glass and I have a sweet buzz goin'. How am I doin' so far y'all?

    For filled my civic duty this morning by showing up for jury duty in the county that I reside in. I initially got picked for the pool but then the lawyers decided to cut me, yea me right? Fast forward to now when I get home to celebrate not getting picked and check the mail box, I have a letter waiting that is a summons for jury duty for the city I live in. It won't surprise me at this point if I get a summons from the state and federal government tomorrow. I'm still going to try and enjoy this Jam Session and at least I didn't get picked this morning.
