Favorite seasonal release?

    I know it's been done but....
    Today I swung by the bottle shop to see what I missed this weekend. As I was walking down the coolers on my way out I spotted it, and my heart skipped a beat, like spying that old lover you have unfinished business with. I knew the can before I had to read the print, although turned away from me I knew there would be that crown above its name, and I knew "this dog'll hunt"... Good to see my old friend again...

    Spring: Capital Maibock
    Summer: Bell's Oberon & Sierra Nevada Summerfest (but I sure miss Goose Island Summertime)
    Autumn: Spaten Oktoberfest
    Winter: Anchor's Our Special Ale (at least, up till this year -- sort of wondering what the new release will be)

    Fall for the wet hop and fresh hop releases--true seasonals. Outside of the Southern Hemisphere release from SN (and anyone else who wants to do that) the one and only time you could get these gems.

    AND they won't be out in July . :wink:

    Great Divide Rumble. It has been both a Spring and Summer release. Hopefully it'll be year-round eventually.

    We've had it in Maryland about a week. We're limited to one bottle per visit at the one retailer that has it. I have two so far. I'll drink my first one this weekend! Yes!
