My first reaction is to be bummed out and a bit irritated (not mad mind you). Then I remember that I've benefited from a couple of locals only, in person releases. Including for one that I imagine would still land a KBBS+. I won't find out though since I'll happily drink the ones I've got left and remenice. Hopefully those that got one will do the same.

Don't always believe what you read on the Internet. Call and confirm it for yourself. They still had 100 bottles as of 5 PM.

I know mug club members got 2 bottles, any idea how many mug club members there currently are?

300 bottles for sale to public, 100 bottles placed aside for mug club members and an addtional 200+ were held back. This was the info I got today while there.

Ok 50 members that makes sense. I heard they will be adding mug club members next year.

Nope, 100 members. They had one bottle reserved for them and they could get a second bottle out of the 300 that were for sale.

Update from Decorah(Long version, because I'm in a hotel for work and have nothing better to do): So I must have some lucky horse shoes crammed up my rear because I was on a work trip in Decorah, and as usual I stop into the brewery with dinner before I head to the hotel for the night. I got to the brewery about 5:45 and whats this I see "Kentucky Brand Brunch Stout" (Mind you I hadn't been on the forms for the past couple days) I about shit all those horse shoes out. I immediately order it and a Sue.

ID required and placed on a neat little list. 1 bottle limit at 15$ a pop. Normally that money would never be dropped on a 12oz bottle but after never having any of the "Big 3" I jumped on it along, with a Sue. Ate my Ede's and sat at a corner table while working(sorry to any BA member there at the time as I was engrossed in work).

A couple people mentioned a guy in a maroon shirt asking people to buy a bottle for him, eventually he turned into the talk of the taproom. Sure enough on the way out I spot the buttnut was sitting out in the parking lot giving money to some guy in exchange for a bottle. The dude creeped me out, mid-forties to mid-fifties, glasses, maroon shirt sitting creepily in a dark parking lot.

Anywho, when I left at 7:30 about a case and 1/2 left. In the 2ish hours I was there a new person in the taproom buying one every 10-15 minutes. Plenty of girlfriends and wives along for that extra bottle as well. Either way a happy day. Excuse me while I tuck my bottle into bed and try to resist the temptation to drink until Friday night. Good luck to those still searching.

Interesting because Bells gets ripped constantly for the silent drop at the General Store.

BTW...I agree with you even though I'll never get close to this beer this year

It's one beer (okay 3 if we want to throw in MD and Assassin)...You can choose to ignore it or not.

Also, it's just beer. I know I know this is a beer website. But that fact remains.
