Boulder Area Options?

    So Im new to the area and Im looking for some local bars/fun places to go to! Id also like some recommendations on some Colorado/Boulder secrets! Im looking for some of the smaller breweries and great food around the area.... Anyone know whats good?

    Never made it to Boulder but the wifey and I loved Lucky pie and Euclid Hall in Denver.

    Vindication. They're good and fly way under the rafar. And if you're there, you're close to the two in Niwot: Powder Keg and Bootstrap.

    Man I'm really diggin bootstraps beers! Definitely gotta head that way! Know of any others like them? Who's got the best brewed IPA around here?

    Need to re visit, wasn't that impressed the time I was there but it was also like the 4th brewery stop.

    Try the coffee IPA from Fate if your into that sort of style, it's very good!

    Out of towners avoid Twisted Pine due to their mainstream beers being pretty below average. I (and other Boulder beer nerds) basically live there due to their awesome food (holy crap the pizza), great people, and stellar seasonals/one offs. Upslope and Wild Woods are my other favorites (apart from the usuals). For night life, just go to Pearl Street and walk around after dark. Everywhere is a blast.

    Agree with you on Upslope and Wild Woods for sure!! Need to re visit Twisted Pine!

    In the minority here for sure, but try the IPA from J Wells, believe it's Hop Haze. I liked it.

    Vindication has their Cougar In The Rye on right now and will be bringing on more Bishop's Hammer soon. And Eric will be doing an imperial stout for the cooler months. They've been doing some wet hopped versions of their stuff but it goes quick.
