I enjoy it a lot and think it's very underrated. Thoughts?

It's a medicore pale ale brewed by a medicore brewery served at a chain sports bar. That pretty much sums it up.

LOL was this released a year ago? People are keeping tabs on it?

Yep, been drinking a lot of it. Finally reviewed it last Saturday.

Disagree on the first two counts (mediocre?), but, yes, it was introduced by a sports bar. I think that fact is kind of irrelevant.

Objectively think it is a very poor example of the style, which is fine, but overall think it's not an enjoyable beer at all, which is not fine.

As is this thread, as this beer changed no games at all.

Your post did state "Thoughts on Redhook Game Changer..." and you got them so here's my thoughts - It's a middle of the road low abv pale ale brewed by a second tier brewery served at a chain sports bar. Better?

It's debatable whether or not the sports bar aspect has anything to do with the quality of the beer (personally don't think so - hence the irrelevancy to the thread's topic).

As for your latter points, disagree entirely. It's subjective, however.

The relevance the sports bar reference has it that the beer may be offered at all or many of the BWWs, a national chain, thereby making it somewhat deflated in the minds of many craft beer drinkers.

And I guess I misunderstood your original posted question. If you were looking for a debate about the quality of the beer, you should say so but don't ask for thoughts and then disagree with them. Of course thoughts are subjective and if you were looking for others to chime in to see if anyone else shared your opinion you have achieved your objective if others do so.

    Change that
I apologize for the lack of clarity. You'll see that I changed the comment before you responded to "...with the quality of the beer" from "...the beer itself."

Underrated? I'd call it overrated. No offense, but I thought that beer was terrible all around.

I have worked at said chain since February of 2013 (so before it was released) and the first time I had it I thought it was garbage and had it a few weeks ago to see if anything was different and it still sucked.

Call me a bad employee but I refuse to push this beer to any customer. I just can't sell something I don't believe is good at all.

I think it's fine for what it is, a straight-forward APA. Don't really understand the spite from beer geeks on this beer, as they are not the target audience.

Was just at that restaurant and saw it on the list. Passed and got the dogfish 60 which tasted watered down. Wings were awesome though

I'd actually drink some Red Dog though. Good times with a fuck awful beer.
