That spot must have gotten him the lead role in Dirty Dancing. He's got moves!

Pretty cool old commercial. I would load my favorite old beer commercial if I wasn't such an idiot an knew how but the 1984 strohs - Alex the beer fetching dog commercial is awesome! Look it up on youtube. Maybe its a favorite because I'm such a dog guy. Hell maybe somebody could put it on here since I can't

Any old Miller Lite commercial featuring Mickey Mantle and/or Billy Martin works for me. It always helps a product's credibility when you have "experts" promoting it.

Still love the Bud Light "Dude" commercials. All time favorite is Bud Light Swear Jar commercial. Classic.

That is awesome! You can see why Swayze was one of the great/bad actors of all time. A young William Shatner would have done well also.

Never seen that one. Hell, I've never even heard of him...

This is the one I was thinking of.

I was just thinking about some of the old Rainier TV ads. I was born in the early 1970s, so I have memories of the great surrealist ads Rainier made at that time, featuring things like wild herds of Rainiers being hunted in the forest by the likes of Mickey Rooney (who clearly needed a paycheck at that time), motorcycles roaring the name of the beer as they sped by a camera in rural western Washington with Mt. Rainier prominent in the background, the Rambo-parody "R-Bo." You could tell exactly when they were sold to a bigger corporate behemoth when the ads suddenly became the safe, bland sort that was later parodied by SNL with "Schmidt's Gay."

    Anybody else got some favorites?

The 1980's were a great time for the beer commercial. Two words… Bob Uecker!

Anyone remember Billy Dee Williams saying "Damn Right" in the Schlitz Malt liquor commercial from the early 80's
"Don't say beer say bull, the Schlitz Malt Liquor, Bull"

The bud-weise-er frogs. This comes to mind as funny
    the clydesdale christmas ones.

You would think I love to drink Bud.
