well, considering it's the #2 rated beer on the site, has nearly unanimous rave reviews, and by my best estimation has less than half the original bottles left in existence, I'm not surprised.

Hmm, I actually find that most offers are pretty off. A lot of people offer quantity for rarity and quality which is fine for some people, but db huna is rare and is definitely in my top 2 beers as far as taste goes.

Same situation for me. Knowing how good DB Huna is, and only having 1 bottle left, it would take something pretty serious to get my attention

Same here, it would take a great offer for me to part with my last bottle.

FWIW, I have a DB Huna that I'd be willing to move and I look at just about every ISO I see for it, but I haven't seen any offers recently that I have even considered for a second.

Agreed. I'm not interested in quantity for quality. Especiallu when dealing with a beer that won't be brewed again, I want to trade for another beer that won't be brewed again.

even if CCB has said "DB Huna will never be brewed again" (which I'm not sure they have) I wouldn't be surprised if they did brew it again down the road at some point. Seems like plenty of one-offs end up being two-offs, etc.

here is a trade that just got done

    '13 Darkness
    '13 abraxas
    '13 HF Genealogy of Morals
    '12 Kate the great
    '13 BA Behemoth
    '13 Huna

to me...it's something I would trade a DB Huna for in a second. I get that it's a great beer, but those are 6 limited and great beers (especially the Kate the Great).

the counter argument is "I can trade lesser stuff to get those beers" which is largely true. but still, 6 > 1. and you are getting rarity here as well.

even if it's never brewed again and it's my only chance to try it...I'm at peace with not getting to try it. there are a thousand beers I'll never get to try, just add one more to the list

If anyone thinks they will not make DB Huna again, I laugh......Nobody is going to rebrew anything..until they rebrew it...

They did a very few bottles of Apple Brandy (84 I think) which they then did again but only in growlers. I am pretty sure those were two separate batches. I also however don't see them repeating DB again in the near future, there are many other variants they could do that haven't been done.

I really hope they do DB Huna again and in a massive quantity. I don't give a crap about trade value or rarity, I'd just love more people to be able to try this beer without giving their whole cellar for it. Plus, I want more of it for myself!

I think they might do it again for festivals. Such as, if they don't distribute Hunahpu next year like they said and keep doing huna day (which I hope), then they might brew db huna for tap, but I dunno about putting it in bottles. Although, I really hope they do because it is my 3rd favorite stout I've tried.
