The " I have reviewed 2000 beers " guy who has been on BA for two years. That's 2.71 different beers each day for two years. Either he has massive overstock, is an alcoholic or only buys bombers.

Don't forget the chick who pretends to be a dude

...and that reminds me of the Banished BA, this kind of BA is sneaky because they have been banished for too many evenings of bad behavior or more likely from one of the great purges, but they haven't gone away...instead they have taken on a new identity, perhaps a playful pun off their old BA handle? This BA is tricky because they have a join date newer than yours, but they seem to have been in the game WAY longer, and they trade all the whales, yet don't seem to post more than a few times to get access to the trade forum.

And you can't forget abut the Hobby Account BA, this BA isn't who they seem to be. This is the guy that seems to know it all but their reality seems skewed to fit a stereotype hard. They are the ones t hat post insanely one sided trade requests that get people all up in arms, but not always. They are fairly elusive since they sometimes pop in and out, others are here always...some are even shared amongst a group of other BAs, the one thing they all have in common is hilarity and the shock of finding out that they exist and who they really are.

"The Puckered BA" - the only beers they can get enjoyment out of are sours, preferably of the Cantillon variety. All other beers just "don't do it for them" anymore.

"The Bourbon Barrel-Aged BA" - similar to the Puckered BA, the only beers they can enjoy the biggest of the biggest bourbon barrel aged stouts. They are always on the hunt for the next biggest stout.

How has no one mentioned the "This beer isn't exclusive enough for me" BA and his brother the "Brewery X, you promised me this beer would be more exclusive" BA?

Man, you think 1K/year is bad, check out this list from the other site. 3K-4K reviews a year? I mean, I get the occasional deluge of reviews when you hit a festival or something, but this strains credulity.

"The Kraut BA" - that person who deems any beer NOT from Germany isn't worthy of putting your lips to. And American takes on Germans styles are atrocious. Only the Germans do beer how it was intended to be enjoyed.

Which reminds me...people who tout themselves on this site as being a "BA" and then you look in the "How many beers do you drink per week" thread or whatever and see them put "1-2"...per week?!

I think some of the people with boatloads of reviews in a short period of time might have consumed those beers years ago but just added them whenever they discovered the site or swapped over from other similar sites/apps.
