Smuttynose Finestkind IPA

Pretty standard IPA here. Poured the tyical golden-orange color with a quickly-dissipating finger of head. Aroma and taste are of sticky, floral hops. Overall, it's not too bad. It's surprising that this is 6.7% ABV. It seems like a pretty sessionable beer. 3.5/5

Opened this one up to enjoy while I watch USC @ Stanford and wait for my alma mater to extract revenge on BYU tonight. First time to drink Wee Heavy...will be seeking out again!

 

This is pretty good.

 

Having your team play the night game seems like a cool thing until you spend the whole day drinking high test beers.

had this hefe that was on my wants list for a bit. Pretty good.

 

A "go to" IPA for me. One of the first beers that got me going on craft beer. I was disappointed I was unable to go to the BBA Sexual Chocolate release today, but fortunately someone was nice enough to pick me up a bottle. Anyway, hope everyone is having a great Saturday. Cheers!

That brew was one of the better brews i had while recently on vacation in Asheville

 

thank you my fine friend @Shroud0fdoom this is holding up mighty well right now tastes fantastic

 

Work has been interfering with my beer drinking. Now I have a free weekend to make up for things.
I made a chickpea vegetable stew for lunch, and had this nice rye IPA, generously donated to me by @SomethingClever


Then I went to SoMe Brewing and bought a mini growler of Apostrophe. Nice mosaic hops!

 

First time having Double Jack in months since I was back in Hawaii for the summer. Gotta say it tastes a little different to me but smells the same for sure, just seems a little hoppier and a fraction less smooth to drink. Maybe my palate has changed so who knows. Still tastes really great an I'm diggin having it available in 4 packs instead of just bombers!


Liked the old gold label better too but to each his own

Blanche de Bruxelles (Rebecq-Quenast, Belgium). Lovely witbier without the nasty yeasty aroma that often ruins this style for me.
