Favorite or Classic BA personalities

The guy who posts what beers he's had over the weekend on the "what beer are you drinking now" thread. classic.

 

The "Posts on NBS at 11am Monday" guy.

 

Montana has speed limits, has for a long while. A friend got a ticket for 85 in a 75 a couple years back.

 

The ThisYear'sReleaseIsNotNearAsGoodAsItWasInYearsPast BA. Has to be one of the most prominent characters that lurk in the forums. Could be any beer, but it was always better in the past.

 

Sure, but, in reality, the state is so damn huge, and the distances so far, apart that speeding is more of a concept there. It's something they hear about, but don't ever do. Maybe there should be a new BA type: "The Honest-Officer-I'm-Just-On-A-Beer-Run-Need-To-Get-To-The-Store-Before-The-FIBS-Buy-All-The-WalezBro" type.

Well there's 11 pages so I hope this has probably been said in the last 9 I didn't get through, but...

The "you're new here you must not have a worthy opinion BA" always annoys me.

Probably not the first time someone's mentioned this in eleven pages, but...

The Unfair Ratings BA guy. This person compares Old Milwaukee to Pliny The Elder and claims it sucks. This person could also try PtE and say it sucks because it doesn't taste like Busch Light. Either way it's downright silly.

The Drnk Revewr BA. Tihs guy hs hd too mch to drink and canot apprpritely rview th beers he is tring to type. He falls out of his chair by the end of the review and ends his review with lots of "!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"


On yeah, and then there's me, the "dumbass who manages to spill his beer during a review". Check my Goose Island 312 urban Wheat review. Man that night sucked. I was so pissed I almost trashed the review completely.

I'm afraid to view any of those threads with most of the BA's I've met being a guide.

Let's hope this thread doesn't start any of that, I haven't tossed from beers in a few years, I don't want to break that streak

 

Is it bad that every time I post on other threads, I can't help but wonder which of these personalities I'm exemplifying? I can't post a single thing without being like, oh shit, I'm being the "more for me BA" (OP doesn't like BCBS, I respond "Oh great, more for me/send me your beer.")

 

Not saying this is a personally thing nor is it a pet pevee but what heck is this wu tang clan thing mean in a post about beer?

I hate to have to search the slang dictionary everything I read some folks posts. btw I love to read everyone posts, weird that way.

 

This is acceptable only when said BA posts this from Somalia.

and over, usually with no commentary whatsoever, clearly for the purpose of getting as many likes as possible.
We may be drunks, but we're not idiots, we've seen that same damn Pliny pic dozens of times! Tell us what you're really drinking and maybe we'll actually like you!

 

The Coy Top 250 Ticker. Whenever the thread asking "how many have you had?" comes back up, this guy busts "well, it appears I've happened to have 237, which is surprising because I never look at this list."

 

The BA that is first to reply to a thread and freaking nails it!

 

I love a good shower beer, and wouldn't mind a tasteful post, but I've seen some awful picture posts on some of these threads and if the shower beer photo caught on, I shudder at the thought.

 

But... I'm sure they have been. I'm only 30.
