LoL I took one pull off of mine and bam down the drain awful it was you have a perfect description of it.

 

That's awesome you've been digging it, it seems like it's been crazy popular in SD and people can't get enough. I was super pumped to try it and then very let down. To each their own and I still love the base beer.

Cheers everyone! I debated today on whether or not to post because of the lousy appearance of my beer. I finally took the pic. BUT this is a pilsener. A Czech pilsener. Horrifying appearance. Hazy, turbid looking like a hefe, looks like a werthers candy from the bottom of my purse. Dirty off off white head of loose foam that fell fast. OK so there's that - but it tasted really good. It was cheerful, it was amply carbonated, it was breaddy and vivacious. Hops were spicy and floral and added a graceful bitter that did not linger too long. UG-ly.

 

"Looks like a werthers candy from the bottom of my purse." That is a gem of a description, so vivid and so gross at the same time!

 

Westbrook Gose- Just not my style so I drain poured it.

Lunch Time ... Smoked some boneless chicken thighs .. took 2 bites before I even snapped a pic
Lucy was on smoker duty again so I let her have one as well ... Cheers. !

 

Lunch time - I stayed home and doing email and presentations while taking care of a sick kid. It was a very looong night and a long morning. Kiddo I taking a nap and figured I could use a treat along with my sandwich!

and photobucket is not taking the 3rd picture atm , oh well you get the idea. i cleaned out total wine and they had 2 dates. one over a year old. they just sit there.....

 

Lagunitas isn't distributed in my area, but my favorite bottle shop, J&H, pulls off miracles....

 

Makes me sad that there will be no Surly WET this year.

 

Wychwood Wychcraft. Billed as a blonde ale, it really fits that description well. Pretty tasty for such a light beer.
