TW in Charleston still has 20+ cases of FBS 2013 sitting on the floor.

I'm NY, and it's been all over the place in the past month, but with 2013 bottle dates. I guess the local distributors are getting rid of the old stock to make room for the new?

I'm not a stout fan but FBS is a really well made beer. I can enjoy a bottle or 2.

I agree. This beer is THE STOUT and the one responsible for me delving into other craft stouts...

I opened a 2013 a month ago and the coffee was still there. It sat around in Tampa for a long time.

I know South Lyndale Liquors has some 2013 on the shelves, should I pick some up or wait for this years version? I guess I'm asking how it ages. Thoughts?

Pick some up and you'll have it gone before 2014 hits.

I heard it won't be hitting shelves this year. They screwed up and had my house as the end point for all shipments. So stop over I'll have a case waiting for ya.

I had some about a month ago and it was really smooth and balanced. There is still some some Imperial Stout sitting around, but only a few cases left. That stuff is drinking heavenly right now!

I was down at chip's and trio's a few weeks ago and neither of them had FBS. their beer selections are pretty legit. Trio's is an all around better shop IMO

Uber-fresh, FBS in magical. Moderately fresh an outstanding beer. With age, a very good beer. The quality of coffee flavor diminishes faster than hops, this beer is a prime example. FBS is drastically different if you're sucking it from the teet.

I believe I heard FBS will be dropping late this month. Should be in steady supply for the next few months.

Slight pet peeve of mine. It's Founders, not Founder's. No apostrophe.
