    Had Anderson Valley Pinchy Jeek Barl Ale. pumpkin aged in bourbon barrels. Very disappointed in it !

    This is not a wow beer but it is nicely balanced. Slightly overcarbonated and a little bit lacking in mouthfeel. Having said that it is very drinkable, not a sipper. Not a Stong Ale/Wee Heavy but still sitting somewhere in between an ESB and a Barley Wine. This is a well balanced ale whatever it is. 7% ESB?

    I made Cran-bic pancakes and eggs this morning for breakfast. Not as good as Apple ale pancakes but still pretty good.

    Tis the Season.......My first Pumpkin Ale. Not bad, lots of pumpkin spice otherwise tastes like an average pale ale.

    Then I tried this...by Crown Valley. Absolutely amazing. A really great imperial Stout with just the right amount of pumpkin, cinnamon, and raisin. Pumpkin spice is definitely there but not overwhelming. Anyone else tried this? BA has this beer mislabled as a Pumpkin beer, It should be an Imperial Stout just like Southern Teir Warlock with pumpkin.

    I had this just yesterday and thought quite the same. I tried it back to back with a Weyerbacher Imperial Pumpkin and really enjoyed how much milder it was. Kentucky was much too bourbony for me. I'd have much rather been sipping actual bourbon.
