    Finally made it down to the shore to begin my vacation. Couldn't think of a better way to kick things off. Cheers.

    have you not had BBXXV at all? if you have, 1 year later i don't really detect a whole lot of variation from the couple opened earlier. if not/unfamiliar, maybe start with: do you like porters & stouts with some bourbon barrel aging? if so, i think XXV is excellent, the other added ingredients work very well with the base (for me). YMMV.

    Late breakfast for me, but oh my lord this xocoveza is superb...a sweet yet slightly spicy stout that is overall just amazing! Also got a bowl of scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon, and of course copious amounts sriracha sauce :grinning:

    Last beer of the day before I have to go back to work! Back to the grind after 3 days off. And I'm still not totally caught up on my beverage depletion! This brew is decent but not really what I would expect for an anniversary ale from the likes of STONE! What did you guys think???

    putting me on the spot with that one! i can probably find more if i wanted to - as such, my own advice would be drink it as soon as reasonably possible & if you really like it seek out more while you still can.

    Love to try that. I've seen the smashed blueberry here but not the pumpkin. How is it??

    Pretty good! probably in the top 1/3 of pumpkin beers that I've had. It sweet and malty with nutmeg seeming to stand out more than the other spices. Easy drinking for 9% as well.

    yes, hold on for as long as possible. of all the beers that suggest aging, these need it the most IMO. Unlike the OP, I saw a very big difference with XXV, and especially with XXIV. 26 is very good now (i have had 4 already) but I understand those that find it too sweet and arent big fans of the fruit components. some said the same thing about XXV and I kind of agreed, but when I had it a year later it was damn near perfect

    I was wearing shorts and a t-shirt yesterday. I'm wearing jeans and a jacket today;
    contemplating turning on the furnace... This seemed fitting to drink now.
