    Reminds me a LOT of Pumking... nearly identical, except this beer was a dollar more for a bomber. Smells great, but too thin for the style and the ABV. It's not bad though. Southern Tier's done much better.

    Been in our thoughts here for sure even if not said every day. Heck, my wife (who fortunately likes beer) who doesn't follow BA (hey...you on that damned beer page again), but she asked me the other day about any news re: Indy. Say it again...anybody thinks this is all just about beer just doesn't get it.

    Bolg Tripel by Fish Brewing, a marketing marvel tied into the Hobbit. I'm usually against this sort of thing, and unfortunately I'm mostly justified in this case -- a drinkable-enough tripel, but not a notable one.

    Founders Dissenter IPL

    Whew, this is a huge bottle! Poured a hazy yellow color with thin, white head. Strong aroma of floral hops jumping out of the glass. It's leaving a decent lacing as I sip, and the taste is definitely that of a hoppy lager: floral notes, slight bitterness, very yeasty. 3.68/5

    Pretty slow moving thread today. Glad I'm able to be responsible for pretty much half of the posts. Doing what any BA worth his/her salt would do while on vacation. Beautiful day down here at the jersey shore. Community is in a state of constant rebuild after Superstorm Sandy just like America has been after 9/11. It's just what we do in the good 'ol U S of A. Can't crush our spirit. Terrorists and/or Mothernature can suck my left nut... And my right one while your at it. Cheers brothers and sisters.
