How many beer stores do you go to?

I have basically 4 that I go to quite a bit:

    1. Mainly go for 1/2 growlers, usually a dozen choices at good prices, plus good priced cases.

    2. Go for the many single 12oz. bottles for experimenting, and also the reasonably priced bombers.

    3. One I go to for special release beers that the manager, who I am lucky to know, will hold for me. Plus they have many good 6 pk. choices at decent prices.

    4. The 1/2 a mile away store in town to grab something quick and last minute for the night. Sometimes you don't prepare well enough. ):

All within 5 miles from home.

Maybe I'll find the everything beer store some day!

    How many do you frequent?

I work part time at Total Wine, one of the best selections/prices in town. I've recently started buying beers on-line (damn, this can be an expensive hobby), but in town, it's TW

Here in New Hampshire the place to go is Bert's Better Beers in Hooksett, N.H. followed closely by The Beer Store in Nashua. These two stores have the best selection.

NH also has Craft Beer Cellars in Nashua and Portsmouth, which is a craft beer chain with about 10 stores nationwide.

I usually go to Binny's because I used to work there, they have a big selection, and their beer is reasonably fresh.

95% One local bottle shop--Brawley's Beverage. Great local family owned (and run) business with best selection in town, always fresh and just a great guy who runs it. Soon to have taps.:sunglasses:

Occasionally will nab a 6 at the Whole Foods or Teeter if there for other reasons and something hits me.

I'm thinking of working part time at a beer store to subsidize my hobby. Maybe I should tweak my resume to make me a more attractive applicant. Maybe delete some degrees and work experience.

The Perfect Pour in Elkridge, MD has the best selection I have ever seen. over 1000 different beers at any one time. Two problems with the place: it's pricy, you pay for the selection. I'm always amazed with I see people there buying Bud. Don't they know it's far less around the corner. Second, is the damn wine and liquor sections keep growing. Why oh why?

I've got my one place I frequent. The guys there are great, and they're quick to tell me about the new beers they have. If I need something they don't stock, I go to Binny's.

I drive by one every day on the way home from work. They have a great selection but sell out fast.

That's when i go to store number two which sometimes gets limited releases but they have jerk owners that add two dollars to everything they carry. Or 11$ extra if it's a bottle of kbs (16$ total!! ) this place is only a quarter mile away though.

Store three has a great selection and prices but is about six miles away so i rarely go there

I'm new enough to craft beer that I'm still walking all over Manhattan and driving all over Long Island to see what everyone has or can get.

Because the beer is great, but the real fun is in the hunt, right?

in my area there are four stores that have decent selections but not one has all the good breweries. My go to place gets fresh cigar city and jacks abby, but never has anything recent from founders or bell's, other place has bell's, other place gets bell's, but not jacks abby or anything decent from FW, other place has consistently fresh FW, but not… yeah u get the idea.

If I'm feeling wealthy I go to the local bottle shop and get a fancy bomber (ideally something all you geeks/nerds/advocates/connoisseurs are going on and on about). If I'm being a cheap bastard like usual I'll get a Firestone or Sierra Nevada variety pack for the week from the grocery store. Sometimes I go out of my way to Total Wine and spend about 2 hours choosing some new/seasonal singles.
