Best extra you've ever gotten/given

    Anyone ever get or give something for an extra that's not easily obtained? i.e. Prop, Huna, Abraxas... Etc...

    I've been hit with some solid extras before from some really cool traders and I've tried to pass along the karma when I'm able. Details are a non-point when everyone is happy with their beer!

    I've gotten psuedo, zombie dust, space ghost and some ng fruit beers from a great BA in wisconsin. So I got back at him and extra'd him a db huna.

    My most recent trade yielded some amazing extras, zombie dust, an amazing local lambic, and a fairly exceptional local berliner-weisse

    Made me kinda upset I did not send him all the extras I had for him due to space issues in the box.

    Have only done a handful of trades but was sent an Atrial as an extra in my last. Still looking for something good to pay that back.

    Often times now I'm more excited for the extras rather than the actual trade.
    There can be some very generous beer advocates here.....and there can be the complete opposite.

    I was extra'd a five month old IPA..... Thanks a lot. Extras are extras. but don't send a beer you don't want to drink yourself.

    I've been sent a BA Abraxas for free. I've been sent a BA Black Magic Panther set for free. etc.

    of course I've also sent things like Huna extras, Hill Farmstead bottles like Everett or Twilight, Cantillon Iris, etc. Beer karma is real!

    Not that they're super rare or hard to get but I had a guy that I did a trade with that sent a Parabola, 2 almanacs and 2 pliny's all as extra's on a simple 2:2 trade that was $4$. I usually send great extra's but this guy got me. Glad to have made a regular trading partner out of it and returned the favor.

    I also just received an unsolicited KBBS. While it wasn't an extra, it was totally unexpected and selfless of him. While some BA's are really jerks, many are EXCEPTIONALLY generous and great people overall.

    Received Huna, Abraxas, and Space Ghost for free.

    Also was recently extra'd in a trade for locals, Chocolate Rain, Cantillion Gueuze, Supplication, and St. Bretta.

    Also have received Dark Lord '14, entire Framinghammer set, and Event Horizon.

    Extras of note:

    DL '14 (was in IP trade and deicded i'd rather have more new G, so he threw it in as a gift)

    and Wanderer, the sender said it was a gift to our newly started bottle share group.

    Forgive my immodesty, but I'm just tickled pink that two people enjoyed my extras enough to comment in here.

    The best extra I've received was probably a Rose de Gambrinus.
