Hey all! So I will be taking a trip first weekend of November to visit some friends but will also be looking for any and all sweet craft beer locations. I will be in the playa vista area. I plan on going to the bruery but other than that, I'm a newb to all there is in cali. Any ideas to awesome bottle shops, restaurants/bars, breweries, etc. Any advice will help. Thanks!

I know they're marketed for tourists but I have never been able to fathom why someone who lives in California would want one of those many "CALI" shirts, but you see them everywhere, up and down the coast. Anyway, to help the original poster out a bit, looks like since he's going to be in coastal Los Angeles he should look for some threads about the beer in LA... I Know there are some fairly recent ones. I'd save him the time and write it out here myself but I don't get around the LA beer scene much (at all anymore). Breweries you'll be close to: Beachwood Brewing & BBQ - Long Beach El Segundo Brewing Noble Aleworks and Bottle Logic Brewery (when you are in Placentia at The Bruery).
