What happened to this beer?

    A few weeks ago I bought a 12 pack of NB Shift and found this can in the middle of the box. Any ideas what happened? I don't think it was a shipping issue because all of the surrounding cans were fine.

    I'm thinking supernatural: evil beer demons conspired to steal your beer by draining the contents from the inside, thus creating a vacuum effect. I'd probably start going to church immediately if you don't already.

    This particular can wasn't completely filled with beer, leaving an air pocket inside the can. During the transportation from brewery to final destination, the change in air pressure caused the sides to cave in.

    Congrats you won the crushed can prize. Expect a Willy Wonka type trip to NB Brewery. Remember to steal the secret to the ever lasting hop. It will change the way we complain about IPA's
