    Guess I'd better get to getting...no craft beer in Mexico for a week (but no shortage of great tequila/mescal) so looks like today/tonight is the day to drink!
    Had the house cleaned by 9 (love coming home to a clean casa), got a massage (as if I needed to relax to go on vacation) and some lunch in me.
    Now picking up where I left off last night...

    Gotta say that while the rum BA version is lower rated, I prefer it much more to this rye version.

    Struggling through a "grunt" filled at Perry St. Brewing. Their IPA seemed like a serviceable PNW example of the style when I sampled it at the brewery yesterday around 4 PM, but their comically inept method of growler-filling gave me a small jug of flat beer, despite it being less than a day since it was filled.

    Just opened another beer. My second time trying ippp. Drinking it while I get ready to go out.

    Going out for dinner tonight at WiseGuys on hilton head island for my birthday dinner (even though tomorrow is my birthday). Trying to decide what to put in the fridge for my nightcap with a cigar.

    I liked it quite a bit! I'm not a big fan of anything sour but it actually had a hint of sweet to it and was otherwise VERY dry, which worked for me. My favorite Ballast Point is still their Habanero Sculpin but since that's almost impossible to get around here, this is a pretty good second place.
